About 'Delancey Street':
‘Delancey Street’ is the ninth album by the NYC-based chanteuse. She describes it as an “album about change,” creatively inspired by Sage’s ancestral and current home, New York’s Lower East Side. The record features eleven original compositions, plus an inspired cover of the Hall & Oates classic ‘Rich Girl’. A thirteenth song, Sage’s understated rendition of ‘Fame’, will be offered as a Bonus Track on iTunes. The album, available in the UK on September 13, 2010, is a musical exploration of identity, cultural heritage, and how where we come from shapes the paths we ultimately take in life.
