Consequence of Sound Premieres A Fragile Tomorrow Video with Joan Baez, Indigo Girls & Julie Wolf.

Taste-maker music site Consequence of Sound has premiered A Fragile Tomorrow's video for the making of "One Way Ticket", Mimi and Richard Fariña’s classic track. The band was joined by folk legends Joan Baez and Indigo Girls, as well as producer Julie Wolf. The song will be on their forthcoming album "Make Me Over", due out on October 16th.

Here's what Consequence of Sound says about the track: "The track itself reimagines Mimi and Richard’s stripped back original version as a raucous, experimental romp. The chugging acoustic guitars and plunking pianos are replaced with ethereal electric guitars and distorted organs. Baez and the brothers harmonize elegantly amidst the madness, with Baez giving a poignant vocal solo in the middle. It’s a gorgeous and eccentric tribute from two different families and generation."

PopMatters Premieres A Fragile Tomorrow's Title Track "Make Me Over (Noddy Holder)"

International Magazine of cultural criticism, PopMatters premiered the title track from A Fragile Tomorrow's forthcoming album "Make Me Over". Here's what they had to say:

Ubiquitous in the UK, a classic rock curiosity on North America, it’s high time Slade was given a proper critical reevaluation on this continent. Until that happens, though, the glam rockers remain something for young people to discover. And who knows, maybe someone who hears this terrific new track by A Fragile Tomorrow, written in tribute to Slade and their singer Noddy Holder, in addition to enjoying the South Carolina band’s boisterous powerpop will be compelled to delve into Slade’s wonderful discography.

PopMatters Premieres Seth Glier's New Song!

Download it now on iTunes!

Popmatters shared the exclusive premiere of Seth's new song "It's A Bitch (Craigslist)". This hilarious live track, recorded at The Ark in Ann Arbor, MI on Seth's "If I Could Change One Thing" tour, is a mostly-true, unfortunate break-up story involving the popular site Craigslist.

When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Seth said, "I wrote this song with my friend Steve Seskin, and to be honest, I had no intention of writing a tune like this. I knocked on his hotel room door one morning and he opened the door and sang me the chorus. He encouraged me to "go with it" and within a few hours we had a pretty memorable song. It's all pretty much true....unfortunately."
