MPress Signs Seth Glier to Multi-Album Deal
June 29, 2009
MPress is proud to announce our first artist signing: 20-year-old
pianist/singer-songwriter Seth Glier. Seth hails from Western
Massachusetts, and was recently featured in the Boston Globe for his
100% Fan Funded Tour. As Rachael Sage recalls, "Seth opened for me last
fall, and within 30 seconds I knew we had to sign him. His music and
voice are so far beyond his years you can't help but listen. The world
needs to know about Seth and his music, and it's incredibly exciting to
help make that happen."
We will nationally re-release his latest album The Trouble With
People, with several tracks re-mixed by Kevin Killen, this fall. New
material is expected in 2010. Seth will also join Rachael at the
Edinburgh Fringe in August, as part of her "Sequins & Shpiel" show. A
seasoned touring artist who has already shared stages with Martin
Sexton, John Mayer and Erin McKeown, he will continue to tour the East
Coast through the summer, and will kick off his official The Trouble
With People re-release tour in the fall. For more information on Seth,
see the MPress Artists Page and his web site.
