Great news on the MPress front! AIMS (Alliance of Independent Media Stores) will be featuring New Arrivals: Vol. 3 in their listening stations nationwide for the month of February. AIMS is a group comprised of forward-thinking music stores across the country dedicated to putting artistic integrity ahead of mass-market commercial hype. MPress at MIDEM 2009

MPress Records will be attending MIDEM once again in January!  We will be seeking licensing opportunities for select catalog in European, Asian and Canadian territories, as well as Film/TV, Mobile Media placement and international touring opportunities for Rachael Sage.  Interested parties please contact JoJo Gentry to set up a meeting.

Rachael Sage & The Sequins Official CMJ Showcase

You’re invited to Rachael Sage & The Sequins’ official CMJ Showcase this Friday night, October 24th at midnight at Kenny’s Castaways, 157 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village.  This is the last full-band performance of the year in NYC.  Admission is free for CMJ badgeholders, and just $5 for the general public (be sure to tell them at the door you’re there to see Rachael).

Wednesday October 22nd MPress Records presents: MPRESSFEST @ CMJ ‘08! An evening of unrivaled music, and even free drinks for official CMJ badge holders. The event will feature artists from the “New Arrivals” series including Rachael Sage, Joy Askew, Todd Carey, Theo Eastwind and Tiff Randol. Are you in NYC? If so, we encourage you to head over to the Virgin Megastore in Times Square or Union Square starting October 15th to pick up a copy of "New Arrivals: Vol. 3" Artists Against Eating Disorders Awareness. The official release date is Oct. 28th so if you pick it up at Virgin you'll get it two weeks before everyone else!

New Arrivals: Vol. 3 is available on iTunes today! (It will be released in stores October 28.) "NAV3" is the third installment in MPress Records' annual compilation series devoted to highlighting exceptional indie talent while also raising funds and awareness for charitable causes. Volume 3 benefits National Eating Disorders Association, and includes tracks from folks like Jay Clifford, The Kin, Ember Swift, Glen Phillips (of Toad The Wet Sprocket), and Rachael Sage.

Rachael Sage Catalog Hits Stores in UK August 4th!

Exciting news for MPress Records! Rachael Sage will be touring the UK July 30th through August 9th to promote the UK release of her new album Chandelier on August 4th! She has signed with Nova Distribution so the entire catalog will be available in stores as well.
