Melissa Ferrick Shares New Video For
U.S. Tour Dates Confirmed With Ani DiFranco
Melissa Ferrick has debuted "I Don't Want You To Change". Directed by Ro Rowan and Melissa Ferrick, the video is the second official music video from her new album the truth is, available now on MPress Records. Ferrick, who just launched a Vine contest to promote the video, has confirmed more U.S. tour dates throughout Fall and Winter of this year. Confirmed dates below or visit: http://melissaferrick.com/shows.
Made in collaboration between Ro Rowan and Melissa Ferrick, the new video is a simple, yet powerful embodiment of Ferrick's concept to "reflect the lyric by aiming that lyric at myself", show the depths of interpersonal relationships and the willingness to embrace a partner at face value, flaws and all. Ferrick explains, "The song has this incessant repetition in the chorus, and, for me, creates a sense of comfort, much like a repetitive rocking motion soothes and comforts a child. Though I'm singing to someone—I don't want you to change—I believe it's not lost on the viewer that I'm actually directing those words at myself."

Rachael Sage's "Haunted By You" Wins Independent Music Award!
Celebrated singer-songwriter Rachael Sage's gorgeous new limited edition vinyl package cover art for HAUNTED BY YOU is now an award-winning piece of art. The design recently won an Independent Music Award for Best Music Promo Poster and features exclusive artwork by Oliver Cartwright as well as graphic design by Rachael. Cartwright, a British fan living in Korea, reached out to Sage on Facebook and sparked a creative collaboration that transformed an image into a multi-media piece of art. Sage, an artist by all definitions, regularly creates her own paintings and showcased this talent with exhibits in NYC's Lower East Side and Tribeca neighborhoods, earlier this year. Fusing together Sage's artful eye with Cartwright's unique process (a combination of ink drawings and digital manipulation), this visually stunning collectors edition package will also be numbered and autographed.
