Rachael Sage Think Gallery Art Exhibition - Sept. 15th

NYC's Think Gallery will present an art installation by East Village-based mixed-media artist Rachael Sage during the months of September and October. Sage, who is also a poet and musician who has released a dozen albums via MPress Records, names Keith Haring, Miro, Chagall and Patricia Field among her visual influences.

Sage, who primarily paints with acrylics and watercolors, is known for her unique drawing style, dense, colorful paintings and glittery, fabric-painted wearable art (which often doubles as stage-wear for her performances). Some of Sage's one-of-a-kind decorated clothing will also be on display alongside her paintings, as a nod to New York Fashion Week.

Join us for the official reception for Sage's exhibition which coincides with the last day of New York Fashion Week: September 15th from 7-9pm. Free wine will be served and locals can meet the artist as she unveils her latest fashion-inspired artwork.

"Choreographic (Acoustic)" at #10 on Folk Radio!

A love letter to her early days as a dancer and also to her more recent collaborators in the world of lyrical dance, Rachael Sage's "Choreographic (Acoustic)" strips back the original album’s layered production in favor of more intimate instrumentation; the lyrics and melodies are front and center in these special acoustic radio mixes.

    Folk Radio has responded:

  • "Choreographic (Acoustic)" #10 on the Top Folk Albums Chart
  • Two songs in the top 10: "Home" (#7) and "Try Try Try" (#9)
  • Rachael Sage #13 top artist for the month
  • MPress #19 top label for the month
  • Both the album and acoustic versions of Rachael's song "Try Try Try" have been added to SiriusXM Radio's The Village - Folk Music Past & Present show.
