Rachael Sage Returns To NYC's Café Carlyle For One Night Only, 11/21

Rachael Sage returns to the renowned Café Carlyle – known for featuring top musical talents such as Woody Allen, Cyndi Lauper and Judy Collins – on Thursday, November 21st to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of her album “Public Record”. Her most popular album to date, “Public Record” contains many fan-favorites by the New York based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who co-produced the album in 2003 with Grammy® Winner Andy Zulla (Rod Stewart, Kelly Clarkson).

Rachael Sage Spearheads "New Arrivals Vol. 5" Charity Project Benefitting Sandy Relief

Production has just been completed on 'New Arrivals Vol. 5: Artists For Hurricane Sandy Relief’ – a charity album timed to the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. 100% of the proceeds from the 20-song compilation CD, curated by Rachael Sage and the MPress Records staff, will benefit the following charitable organizations in several communities affected by Hurricane Sandy: The Red Hook Initiative (Brooklyn), Project Hospitality Staten Island Hurricane Relief Fund (Staten Island) and Graybeards (The Rockaways). For the first time ever, a NAV album features the contributions of several international artists, joining together to support this NY-centric cause.

The CD, which received its MPress digital release on October 29, 2013, will be followed by a physical release on Jan 14, 2014, and showcases a strong line-up of established and emerging performers. Contributing artists include Paula Cole, Ari Hest, Lucy Wainwright Roche, Antigone Rising, UK’s Polly Paulusma & Karima Francis and Rachael Sage. The CD cover image (above) was donated by the archives of Pan Am Airlines, and sponsors include Blurt Magazine, The Deli Magazine and M Music & Musicians.

Rachael Sage at NERFA (Northeast Regional Folk Alliance) 2013

From Nov. 7–10, Rachael will be attending and showcasing at NERFA, at the Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson, NY. She'll be playing as a duo with violinist Kelly Halloran, and performing several showcases throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, Nov. 9 from 12:15-1:45 pm, Rachael will also be speaking on a NERFA panel entitled "Licensing and Publishing", exploring such topics as performing rights organizations (PRO's), self-publishing, and licensing for film/television.

Rachael Sage's "Haunted By You" now available on MelOn, the biggest music service in Korea!

Rachael Sage's milestone 10th album "Haunted By You" is now officially available in Korea on top online music streaming and digital music retailer, MelOn. The first of MPress Records' catalog to be distributed in the territory, "Haunted By You" release features the artwork created for the US vinyl release by Seoul resident artist Oliver Cartright and Rachael Sage. Rachael Sage Opens for Mary Fahl in Philadelphia

On Saturday, November 16th, Rachael opens for Mary Fahl at Tin Angel in Philadelphia. Mary, the former lead singer of '90s folk, adult-alternative group October Project, just released her new album "Love and Gravity". Mary's new album features the powerful & haunting track "Exile: The Wolves of Midwinter", written as the theme song for author Anne Rice's new novel "The Wolves of Midwinter".

Public Record Instagram Contest & Free Remix!

Rachael Sage's Public Record hit the streets Fall 2003, and 10 years later its her best-selling and most danced-to* album. The Public Record artwork features Rachael's signature collage style, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary Rachael is offering great prizes for "Public Record" inspired art as well as a free download of a new remix of "Bravedancing" by Barb Morrission and The Half Style.
